Hey travel fam — I’m currently in Thailand and wanted to share an important update that might affect your future trips here.

If you’ve traveled to Thailand before, you probably remember the old TM6 form — that little blue-and-white card you had to fill out on the plane before landing. It was always a scramble to find a pen, remember your hotel address, and fill it out neatly enough so immigration could read it.

Well… that’s officially in the past.

✨ Say Hello to the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

Starting May 1, 2025, the Thai government is launching the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) — an online form that must be filled out before arriving in the country. This digital form fully replaces the old TM6 and applies to all foreign tourists (so yes, that means us!).

📝 Quick Breakdown: What You Need to Know

  • Who needs it? All non-Thai travelers, even those from visa-exempt countries. (If you're transiting and not passing through immigration, you’re good.)

  • When to fill it out? Within 3 days of your arrival. So if you're landing on May 10, you can fill it out anytime from May 7 onward.

  • Where to fill it out? Online, at the official portal:  HERE

  • What you'll need:

    • Passport info

    • Travel details

    • Accommodation address in Thailand

    • Basic health declaration

💡 Why This Is Actually a Good Thing

I know “digital form” can sound like another hoop to jump through, but honestly, it’s an upgrade:

  • ✅ No more stressing mid-flight to fill out the TM6 card.

  • ✅ Faster processing at immigration (less paperwork = smoother entry).

  • ✅ Everything’s done ahead of time, so you’re ready to go when you land.

If you’ve got upcoming travel plans here, just make sure to add the TDAC to your pre-departure checklist.
