Karon Viewpoint is one of the most iconic and easiest viewpoints to visit in Phuket. It offers one of those classic, wide-open island views that instantly reminds you why people fall in love with southern Thailand.

We visited Karon Viewpoint and took Bolt to get there, which made the trip simple and stress free. It was one of those stops that required very little effort but delivered a huge payoff in scenery.

If you are planning a trip to Phuket and want a viewpoint that is accessible, scenic, and easy to fit into your day, Karon Viewpoint deserves a spot on your itinerary.

What Is Karon Viewpoint

Karon Viewpoint is a popular scenic overlook located between Kata and Karon beaches on the southwestern coast of Phuket. It is sometimes referred to as the “Three Beaches Viewpoint” because of the panoramic view it provides.

From this single spot, you can clearly see:
• Kata Noi Beach
• Kata Beach
• Karon Beach

All three beaches curve along the coast below, framed by hills and bright blue water on clear days.

There is a steady flow of visitors, but it rarely feels chaotic. Most people are simply enjoying the scenery, taking photos, or resting for a few minutes before continuing on their day.
