We fell in love with Sushiro in Japan, and now that it’s in Bangkok, it’s become our weekly ritual. It’s the same cheerful flow: we grab a queue number on the app, slide into a booth, and let the plates roll. I stick to my salmon/tuna loop, the younger one keeps it simple, and Kal-El (my adventurous eater) has trained his brother to hunt down every seasonal special like it’s a game show.

Prices & plate colors (Thailand)

Thailand keeps it clean with four tiers: ฿40 / ฿60 / ฿80 / ฿120 per plate. You’ll see the price on the menu and know it by plate color. Great value, especially for families.

The Thai app = no standing around

Download Sushiro Thailand and book a slot or take a digital queue number before you show up. You can track your place in line and stroll the mall instead of guarding the host stand. (There’s also a Google Play listing in English.)

How it works (Bangkok edition)

  • Seat setup: soy, wasabi, ginger, and a hot-water tap with green tea powder at most seats, pour your own.
  • Ordering: grab from the belt or use the touchscreen so items zip to you on a personal lane, fast and fresh.
  • Billing: staff count your plate colors; screen orders are logged automatically.

What we order (and what my kids says to try once)

  • Salmon parade (plain → torched → mayo/onion)
  • Tuna lineup (akami/chutoro + negitoro)
  • Crunch break (shrimp tempura roll or fried squid)
  • Warm sides: miso, ramen, or chawanmushi (varies by branch; clearly priced on Thai menus)
  • Adventurous eater’s picks: salmon skin, natto rolls, anything stamped Limited.

Our branch notes (places we’ve actually eaten)

  • CentralWorld (7F, Beacon Zone) - Our fave: big, efficient, and easy to pair with errands. Open daily 10:00–22:00.
  • Century The Movie Plaza On Nut - Handy before/after movies; daily 10:00–22:00 (L.O. 21:30).
  • Emporium/EmQuartier area - There’s a Sushiro at The Emporium (4F); hours typically 10:00–22:00. (Check the branch page for the day’s hours.)
  • One Bangkok (3F, The Parade) - New landmark spot; daily 10:00–22:00 (L.O. 21:30).
  • Siam (Siam Paragon 4F) - Easy after errands; 10:00–22:00.

Hygiene & peace of mind

Post-2023, big chains tightened controls: more made-to-order delivery, better monitoring, fewer unattended plates. We’ve felt totally fine at Thai branches too.

Etiquette & tiny tips

  • Tea is self-serve (green tea powder + hot water). Don’t burn your fingers, those taps are hot.
  • Time limits during rush (often 60–90 minutes) keep waits moving, never felt rushed unless lines were huge.
  • Go off-peak: weekday 3–5 pm is dreamy; weekends = use the app.

Quick FAQ (Thailand)

How much will two hungry people spend? Depends on your plate mix, but the ฿40–120 tiers make it easy to control.
Is the app required? Not required, just so much faster at popular malls.
Kid-friendly? Yes, high chairs are common; start with salmon/tamago/inari then let them pick one “adventure” roll.
CentralWorld hours? Typically 10:00–22:00; confirm on the mall page the day you go.
